Job Description:
- Process all customer requests in an efficient, timely manner that ensures customer satisfaction and company profitability
- Handle customer calls, process orders and assist customers in a friendly, efficient manner
- Ensure all customer requests/complaints are handled in a satisfactory manner
- Maintain communication with sales reps and other internal customers
- Maintain communication with sales reps and other internal customers
- Ensure orders, faxes, and purchase orders are keyed on a daily basis
Desired Skills/Education:
- Customer service skills – friendly, efficient, helpful manner with all customers
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers, suppliers, and management
- Computer skills – basic computer knowledge, AS400 system knowledge
- Excellent typing and data entry skills
- Knowledge and ability to work with pricing levels, allocation of products and substitution of products so orders are completed in an effective and timely manner
- Outgoing, initiative-driven individual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing, multi-tasked environment
